The University Pathway Finland (Science & Technology) programme is offered by Aalto University and Tampere University, Finland's two largest universities in the area of technology. By completing the digital pathway studies, international students have the chance to progress to study in one of the selected degree programmes at Aalto University or Tampere University.

Programme content & Teaching methods

  • Covers the modules in Mathematics on Vectors & Matrices, Introductory Calculus, Differential & Integral Calculus’ corresponding to 15 ECTS together at Bachelor level
  • Also provides the opportunity to learn survival Finnish and globally acclaimed Finnish study skills
  • Studying in the pathway programme is part-time, and the courses stretch evenly over eight months, divided into four teaching periods (7 weeks per period)
  • The work load typically stretches over 540 hours which includes independent course-related studying, classes, exercises, assignments, and other forms of instruction, as well as exams.

Progression to Bachelor level studies and Scholarships

After completing the digital pathway studies, you have the chance to progress to degree studies at one of the selected Bachelor's degree programmes at Aalto University or Tampere University.

Once you are accepted to the Bachelor's degree programme, you automatically get the right to continue your studies in selected Master’s programmes.

The scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and covers 50-100% tuition fees during the Bachelor program.
